About Us
Dance 'N' Culture specializes in cultural dance workshops for schools in the Greater Toronto Area (virtual workshops available for schools outside of the GTA). With a focus on authentic cultural dance, diversity and representation, we connect teachers and students with artists who are experts in their respective styles. Our experienced instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love of dance with students, and our workshops provide students with the opportunity to explore the ways dance is used around the world for self-expression, storytelling, and celebration.

OUR MISSION
It has never been more important than now to draw cultural connections for our youth to their everyday learnings. Dance ‘N’ Culture aims to have each and every workshop we teach be authentic and full of historical context. DNC hires real artists who are experts in their style. Each artist endeavours to continue their cultural dance education, as well as their teaching methodology.
We at DNC also recognize that the conversations around appropriation and appreciation are evolving and we strive to stay up to date in our learnings and training at all levels of our organization.
Dance has the power to allow creative expression both mentally and physically. It is our mission to create better access to artists and allow students the gateway to that creative expression.
